From its origins in 1926 when members of Bethel Methodist Church helped start Reeds Methodist Episcopal
Church South, which became Reeds United Methodist Church in the mid-sixties, this congregation has strived to become a prominent
spiritual entity in the community called Reeds Crossroads. In the years since, membership and attendance have either grown
or maintained as new members joined and older members went home to be with the Lord. As each year passed, the family bond
of brothers and sisters in Christ grew even stronger until today when Reeds UMC emerges as a continually growing and welcoming
church. All are invited into our fellowship and a grand welcome awaits the newcomers and visitors to our door.
With
each challenge we have encountered, we became stronger in our faith. We may provide links to other sites that provide more
detail on our church history or particular events in our past.
We invite you to become a part of the church today
and a piece of its history tomorrow.
